Hmmm, well, Winter seemed to be helping against the Mark of Rodgort skills from the Charr and Sparks (nasty little critters!). But maybe it was my imagination. I'm usually mashing buttons so fast that I'm not really sure what is happening and what skills are really working. All I know is that Adelbern and his priest survived (but not his warriors).
The elemental warding skills were probably the most notable difference from my previous failed attempts -- which included one run all the way from Yaks Bend with six guys (what a TOTAL waste of time that was!). |

I myself am a Ranger and have attempted Winter on my own bar, a nuker fire ele (as it becomes cold damage), a healer monk, and a tank, though could only survive the first Armageddon Lord and his pals.
By the way, has it been proven yet if cold damage harms titans more than fire, or is Winter just to nullify the fire damage and weaken it? |

I've done this twice. Once the back way (which involves killing quite a few charr mobs) and once sabway. I'd suggest not bothering with ele nukers. If you have to take ele's go warder/support (like being an e/mo and taking over heal duties so you can take more damage heroes). Or air spike can work I guess. Use necros and warriors or thumpers (high armour makes all the caster mobs cry, and they are just about all casters). Evis->exec->crit on one titan at a time beats 30 damage to the whole mob. Also, a MM is nice to give more targets to keep them from focusing on your 4 man party or the king's group.

I'm pretty sure they also have less armor vs cold damage, but I can't remember. |

I had a lot of problems with the Titan quests until I tried Sabway. Using the three necro set-up was pretty much C-space all the way, except for the last one: The Titan Source - I think I wiped twice, but still managed to complete it.
